Project Coordinators at Atmosphere Flooring Solutions are an integral and central part of the Commercial Construction team.
Project Coordinators work under the guidance of a Project Manager to accomplish all day-to-day tasks involved in supplying and installing flooring, tiling, and various other specialized finishing products.
A few examples of Project Coordination responsibilities are:
- Gathering information from architectural plans, specification documents, and various other sources
- Using gathered information to create illustrations and construction plans
- Compiling gathered information and created illustrations/plans into a communicable package to distribute to internal team members, clients, and subcontractors
- Monitoring project schedules
- Initiating material shipments based on project schedules using proprietary software
- Performing material takeoff (estimation) and creating quotes for additional work requests
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with construction plans such as architectural or interior design drawings
- Familiarity with the construction industry in general
- Competence using computers and general software such as Excel
Compensation:
- $23-30 / hour commensurate with skill and experience
- Benefits plan available after probationary period
