Job Title:
Collections Analyst - Hudson Commercial (US)

**This position is hybrid and located in Houston, TX (Greater Houston Area) or hybrid and located in Mississauga, ON (GTA + Hamilton Area)

Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Provide Collection support for various markets
  • Review, investigate, and recommend action on past due accounts including thirdparty placements
  • Call customers with large outstanding balances
  • Create, manage, and issue specific customer communications (such as drop notices or demand letters)
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners to resolve collections related customer issues
  • Handle client bankruptcies
  • Reconciliation of accounts in case of discrepancies and preparation of reports as needed.
  • Identify and help execute process improvements
  • Rely on knowledge, training, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • 1 years of collections or accounts receivable experience.
  • Highly organized, analytical, detailoriented, efficient, and accurate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure their timely completion.
  • Ability to adapt to constant change.
  • Problem solving and decisionmaking skills.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
