Position Summary:

Reporting to Executive Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of agency wide systems for client programming and participates in overall agency resource planning.

The Program Manager is responsible for the day to day and long term growth and enhancement of the agency.

Duties include supervision of management staff and performing human resource functions for the agency in accordance with agency policies and procedures and related legislation.

Managing the operations of the residential, supported independent living and community participation supports programs, the Program Manager will

i. Operationalize the philosophy of inclusion, and demonstrate commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Access Community Services.

ii.

Coordinate services and supports to promote and maximize opportunities for individuals supported to achieve outcomes and goals as developed within Individual Support Plans.

iv. Lead and manage staff teams and provide

over sight of programs and services to ensure, they meet quality assurance measures and legislative requirements.

v. Collaborate with team members to implement activities to meet agency strategic directions and enhance quality initiatives.

vi.

Exemplify professional communication while mentoring, coaching and leading direct reports to develop and enhance skills required to successfully fulfill their responsibilities.

vii. Participate in staff hiring, training, evaluations and professional development.


Skill and Qualifications:


  • Ability to implement and monitor systems to improve work flow, ability and desire to work within a team, strong computer skills, project management, evaluation and data collection.
  • Previous and successful experience in management positions that includes leading staff teams and working collaboratively with individuals, families and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a supportive, cohesive team
  • Creative and responsive communication and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, maintaining and promoting a positive attitude.
  • Ability to adjust work hours to meet program and agency needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote accountability in the interests of individual, team and organizational goals.
  • Successful applicant will be required to submit proof of a current Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, a valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract.

Salary:
From $67,808.00 per year
