**Position Summary**

The Instrumentation and Calibration Technician, under mínimal supervision, is responsible to perform the functions necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, install and calibrate pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and low voltage electrical control components/systems.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, and alter/modify pneumatic, hydraulic, low voltage and mechanical equipment or system components
- Carry out both field and bench calibration duties and tasks instruments generated by CPM with various instruments following S.O.P.s
- Integrity-test components to ensure product efficacy following S.O.P.s
- Determine impact of work scheduled, co-ordinate and communicate to departments/customers impact on production operations
- Compile, enter data and maintain all information/documentation relevant to maintenance and calibration programs
- Manage and ensure calibration standards are up to date and traceable to NIST
- Arrange for Contract/Third Party services as required and supervise all work performed
- Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with c.G.M.Ps, S.O.P., W.I.s, codes, regulations and established safety standards
- Review and write Work Instructions for calibration procedures
- Work as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes
- Perform all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements
- Help resolve certain electrical issues
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment is a definite asset
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
- Working knowledge of company G.M.P.s
- Good communication skills, Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated Initiative, self-motivation
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Bilingual in both French and English
- Experience in Biologics manufacturing is desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

**Education**
- Completion of a recognized Industrial Instrumentation College degree or equivalent
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in the maintenance, repair and calibration of pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical and low voltage electrical control components/systems

Le / La Technicien(ne) en instrumentation et étalonnage, sous un minimum de supervision, est responsable d'effectuer les fonctions nécessaires pour maintenir, dépanner, réparer, reconstruire, installer et étalonner les composants pneumatiques, hydrauliques, mécaniques et composants / systèmes électriques à basse tension.

**Fonctions et responsabilités principales**
- Dépanner, réparer, entretenir, étalonner et modifier les équipements pneumatiques, hydrauliques, composantes de voltage à basse tension et mécaniques
- Effectuer les tâches d'étalonnage sur le terrain et sur les bancs générés par le 'CPM' sur divers instruments d'après les PON
- Composer les analyses d'intégrité pour assurer l'efficacité du produit d'après les PON
- Déterminer l'impact du travail planifié, coordonner et communiquer aux départements / clients l'impact sur les opérations de production
- Compiler, saisir les données et maintenir toutes les informations / documentations relatives aux programmes de maintenance et d'étalonnage.
- Gérer et assurer que les normes d'étalonnage sont à jour et traçables au 'NIST'.
- Assurer la prestation de services contractuels au besoin et superviser tout le travail effectué
- Assurer que tous les travaux sont exécutés en pleine conformité avec les BPF, PON, instructions, les codes, les règlements et les normes de sécurité établies
- Examiner et rédiger des instructions de travail pour les procédures d'étalonnages
- Travailler en tant que membre d'une équipe pour atteindre tous les résultats
- Effectuer tous les travaux conformément à toutes les exigences réglementaires, de conformité et de sécurité établies
- Aider à résoudre certains problèmes électriques
- Effectuer d'autres tâches assignées

**Qualifications**
- Expérience dans le dépannage et la réparation de matériel électronique est un atout
- Compétences informatiques et connaissances de MS Office
- Connaissance pratique des BPF
- Bonne aptitude à communiquer, bonnes compétences interpersonnelles
