As a member of Retail Payment Service Business Intelligence & Analytics department you will provide back office support for our Cards, Cheque, and Currency partners.
You will be working closely with leaders, internal stakeholders and partners to foster relationships, identify key metrics and build reporting and dashboarding solutions.
In the spirit of continuous improvement, you will proactively use your data analytics skillset to identify trends and root cause, providing recommendations to implement solutions.

How You'll Succeed- Instrumentation Development - Support metrics and dashboard development, building self-serve automation and BI capabilities using tools such as Excel VBA, Alteryx, PowerBI etc.- Analyzing Business Requirements - Research and analyze specialized information and recommend solutions to issues and problems that arise during the ongoing operation of business.- Analytics development - Support analytics initiatives with key stakeholders and business specialists within Retail Payment Services- Provide leadership - You will lead or support diverse projects and initiatives by creating a positive work environment, being an effective role model and mentor by championing CIBC's mission, vision, and values.
You'll lead or support by sharing knowledge and collaborating to come up with effective solutions to problems to ensure effective and timely delivery.- Relationship/Stakeholder Management - Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, operations, technology and business partners to resolve problems/inquiries.
- Business Support - Support business partners generating regular business reportingWho You Are- You can demonstrate experience.
You have experience with data analytics and a strong technical knowledge with reporting tools (PowerBi, Excel, Alteryx etc.)- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the know-how to interpret data and generate innovative and unconventional solutions- You give meaning to data.
