EnVision Consultants Ltd. is looking for a bright, motivated, team-oriented person to join our team as a GIS Technician.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ESRI Products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS 10.x) as well as experience working with CAD products; Our goal is to simplify our clients' experience by providing practical solutions with our industry-leading technical expertise.

We are a multidisciplinary team with a focus on infrastructure and geo-environmental related services.

Our team of professional engineers, scientists, technologists, and support staff bring decades of experience and knowledge for a wide range of end markets.

From development to large scale infrastructure projects, our team is ready to provide a full lifecycle consulting experience. Providing technical GIS support on a variety of projects to support various service lines, including geotechnical investigations, instrumentation & monitoring, hydrogeology, rural servicing, contaminated lands, and ecology
Preparation of Technical Maps and Figures to support a variety of project types
Assisting with the creation, conversion and management of various mapping, graphic, and tabular data for internal and external projects
Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
A diploma/degree in GIS or demonstrated work experience in the field of GIS
~0-3 years of relevant work experience
~ Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online, and a working knowledge of GIS software packages
~ A strong understanding of cartographic principles and the ability to effectively communicate complex data on a map
~ Knowledge of Survey123, Field Maps and Digital Field Data collection tools would be an asset
~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
~ Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
~ Ability to work from home when required and from the office when required
