Logistics Coordinator - Edmonton, Canada - Proveo

Description

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Logistics Coordinator will supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouses (Proveo West Edmonton, Proveo East Edmonton, Proveo Fort McMurray) working out of our west Edmonton location.

• Oversee facility, receiving, warehousing, and distribution of project equipment.
• Implement operational policies and procedures.
• Implement and oversee security operations.
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensure the safety of staff.
• Manage warehouse and shop staff.
• Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
• Assist with deliveries where required.
• Attending weekly EOS Operations meeting at Proveo East Headquarters.
• Scheduling maintenance of ventilation equipment.
• Help in improving asset management for both RCSM and Ventilation Equipment.
• Other duties as required.

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
• Valid drivers' license
• Ability to operate forklift effectively.
• Proficient computer skills
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problemsolving skills
• Strong people skills
