Currently in a significant growth phase, particularly in its Canada and Australia operations, the Company requires a Sales Coordinator, located in the Vancouver Office to support the marketing and sales department in optimizing revenue and bookings.

We are looking for an energetic professional to join our dynamic and diverse Team of Professionals to help guide clients along the sales process.

***: Working out of the Head Office, this individual would support remotely the marketing and sales departments from each of our Canadian properties. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales this individual would work along side the sales account managers and deal directly with our valued clients. This position offers and excellent opportunity for growth and promotion


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Correspond with prospects and answer any questions about our Canadian hotels' property facilities/services, (e.g. hours of operation, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants and special events)
  • Assist in preparing proposals, contracts and invoices, ensuring that all essential details are addressed in the documentation.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
  • Respond to client requests for proposals and other pertinent information within the same day (minimum) or within 24 hours (maximum).
  • Develop and enhance key business relationships and individual contacts to maintain and promote long term business and referral opportunities
  • Maintain and consistently update Delphi accounts, bookings and client contact information.
  • Ensure traces are followed up in a timely fashion.
  • Assemble all collateral /sales kits
  • Keep abreast of competitive activities and market conditions for feedback to Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Applies Aldesta policies and procedures in activities and correspondence as required.
  • Attend sales meetings and site inspections as required.
  • Other job related duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • 12 years Hotel Sales/Reservations Experience mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional and effective communication and presentation skills
  • Computer literacy, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc )
  • Experience with Delphi is preferable
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to provide comprehensive site tours of the assigned Aldesta properties
