ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Maxxit is seeking a full time temporary Machine Operator - Sheet Metal for the afternoon shift for approximately 5 months.

The hourly wage will be $25 to $27 based on experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Set up and operate sheet metal forming equipment, including brake press, shear, and punch press (Safan & Trumpf).
Load, form, and unload products ranging from small pieces to larger sheet steel and aluminum.
Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and operation of the brake press to produce highquality products.
Inspect products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
Read specifications or follow verbal instructions accurately.
Perform daily maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
Support and assist other machine operators as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
Proven experience in running sheet metal forming equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in interpreting machine drawings.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced work environment.
Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
