We are looking for an accomplished Vice President to join our Middle Office Services team to oversee our Fund of Funds Trade Processing function.

Our Fund of Funds Trade Processing function provides client with services to manage the transactional workflows for their Fund investments including data collection and trade execution and settlement.

As part of our Montreal team you will:

be responsible for providing oversight of our Fund of Funds Trade Processing function; and

- be actively involved in the coordination of projects aimed at the continued improvement of operational efficiency and risk mitigation

The Vice President roles entails operational oversight, project management and client delivery.

Operational Oversight:
- responsible for supervision of local Data and Reporting Analysts;
- ensuring that workflows relating to Fund of Funds trade processing (subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, transfers), Fund of Funds valuations capture and Fund of Funds ad-hoc activity (e.g. proxy voting) are processed in a timely and accurate manner;
- continued development and monitoring of policies and procedures for ensuring completeness and accuracy of processing;
- managing use of processes and systems with goal of optimal efficiency and providing training to staff members; and
- reporting business issues to the Senior Vice President

Project Management:
- liaising with the Senior Vice President in the development, execution and roll-out of projects for the continued improvement of operational efficiency and control;
- coordinating participation of team members in definition of project specifications and roll-out of reengineered processes; and
- providing continuous and clear communication around projects objectives, plans and progress to relevant teams.

Client Work and Client Service:
- managing client on-boarding process to gather client requirements and to ensure workflows
- overseeing daily operations and client delivery; and
- managing client relationships.

What You Bring
- a minimum of 5-7 years' work experience in alternative investments and / or trade processing including:a detailed understanding of alternative investments including Fund of Funds;
a detailed understanding of transaction processing and execution; and
a proven track record in managing an operational team
- an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Business or Finance or related discipline;
- an obsession with timeliness, precision and compliance with operational processes;
- superior analytical and problem-resolution skills;
- superior communication skills both with internal and external stakeholders;
- sound business judgment; and
- fluency in English
