Summary:


The Quality Improvement Consultant uses expert knowledge and skills to provide consultative support and coaching/ mentorship to clinical programs and services as it relates to quality, process improvement and performance management to meet the strategic goals of the organization, achieve operational efficiencies and achieve sustainable change.

In performing the functions of this role, the incumbent takes into consideration external and internal drivers in determining actions to provide business services.

Job duties include, but are not limited to execution of process improvement tools and techniques, performance metrics identification and analysis, execution of patient experience data collection methodologies, coaching/mentorship, planning, evaluation, and leadership for organizational change management.

The incumbent contributes to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.


Qualifications:


  • Masters Degree in Health Sciences, MBA, Health Administration
  • Certification in LEAN/Six Sigma and working knowledge of IHI improvement model
  • Expertise in adult education principals
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in meeting and group facilitation
  • Excellent change management, problem solving, negotiations and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in project management,
  • Experience in evaluation, measurement, data collection and analysis,
  • Research skills
  • Good attendance record
