We are excited to be recruiting for a Hotel Houseperson at the Norwood Hotel.

This is a part time position, and the hours will be every Saturday & Sunday Evening.
The Norwood has always been an innovative leader in the hotel industry. The Norwood Hotel has an interesting and diverse history dating back to the latter part of the 1800's. The earliest records available indicate a photograph of the hotel in 1895.

In 1937, the Hotel came under the ownership of the late Merle Sparrow and has been operated by the Sparrow family ever since.

This longevity in ownership makes the Norwood the oldest operated family hotel in Manitoba and one, if not the oldest in all of Western Canada.

The
Houseperson is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of assigned general/public areas within the Hotel.

Duties:

Cleaning of assigned public areas to the standard of training.
Preparation of supplies for daily assignments.
Proper maintenance of equipment, proper care and storage of supplies.
Assisting other team members until all duties are complete.
Cross training into other roles within the Housekeeping and Maintenance Department as needed
Other duties as assigned.
