Production Operator - Edmonton, AB
Key Responsibilities
The Production Operator is a self-motivated individual who will perform an array of duties including fabrication of overhead door components.
Your Role
- Operate production equipment including steel rollformer, spring rolling equipment, and punch press to produce overhead door components.
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
- Work within tight tolerances and inspect finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and quality targets.
- Document work completed using company procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members.
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating punch press considered an asset.
- Prior experience with steel rollforming considered an asset.
- Great physical stamina, manual dexterity and physically fit capable of lifting and carrying 50lbs/20kg.
- Attention to technical detail.
- Forklift Operation Certification considered an asset.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
