Description

What You'll Do

Responsible for cash management with consistent monitoring and communication of cash position
Assume complete ownership of daytoday accounting operations
Assume complete ownership of the month and yearend processes
Establish and continuously improve internal finance and accounting policies and procedures
Process biweekly payroll
Ensure payroll and sales tax compliance in all operating jurisdictions
Support the business reporting needs of the CFO and other departments

What You'll Need

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting

Languages:Bilingual (English & French)

Experience:3-5 years experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or in a managerial/controller role in industry

Skills: A strong command of Microsoft Excel, familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks Online, and basic knowledge of SQL
-
A Plus: CPA designation an asset

Are an owner:Ability to work without direct supervision, crave ownership of your work and want yourself and others to be accountable for their work
