Fuel Truck Operator - Calgary, Canada - Borger Group of Companies
Description
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Core Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the delivery of Fuel to all active Borger Sites.
- Keep track of truck inventory i.e. oil lubricants, filters, seals, common parts and tools
- Track fuel and oil quantities loaded and dispensed to the 10th of litre and unit number
- Report any severe equipment deficiencies upon inspections
- Perform weekly maintenance to Fuel truck i.e. grease, brake adjustments and inspections
- Complete scheduled PM's assigned by the Equipment Superintendent
- Follow the protection rules and policies in transporting, handling and supplying of fuel/oil
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and company image
- Responsible for entering your own time
- Utilize time management skill to alleviate lost time & supply fuel to all sites in a timely manner
- Travelling and driving in all types of weather conditions
- Be a leader of Safety, Production and Environment for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Provide superior customer service in day to day activities
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Provincial Driver's License with clean abstract
- First Aid
- Standard with CPR
- WHMIS
- TDG
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Heavy Equipment Maintenance or related industry with mechanical aptitude.
- Work Overtime when required
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office (Excel,Word), HCSS Equipment E360)
- Customer service focus and ability to build relationships
- Safety oriented
- Strong numbers oriented and attention to detail that is able to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol
- Able to lift 50lbs without assistance
