As a Trusted advisor for Data Quality Management, you'll contribute to the adoption and advancement of TELUS' Data Management and Data Quality Program, you will also contribute to the advancement of TELUS' Data Quality platform maturity and adoption.

As a Subject Matter Expert in Data Management, you collaborate with various business units and demonstrate thought leadership when sitting at the intersection between business value, technology and data to ensure TELUS' data quality platform provides a high usability platform for all data quality needs at TELUS.

Growth mindset is the must for this role as we are lean and extremely adaptable team that supports all aspects of Center of Excellence practice.

What you will do:

Establish product strategic goals and short, mid and longterm roadmap
Define and document what to solve first, articulate the valuable market/user problem to be addressed along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution
Gathers, manages, and prioritizes market/customer requirements
Acts as the user advocate articulating the end user's needs
Work closely with engineers, architects, program managers and platform support to ensure business case, yearly targets and user satisfaction goals are met
Ensure that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals
Empower rapidly growing TELUS Enterprise Data Quality Management Practice user community
Enrich user experience for all types of users
Support and be attentive to users needs and concerns in a timely manner, alleviate user concerns in a positive manner in alignment with program vision and approach
Actively monitor data quality maturity trending and initiate appropriate corrective actions with responsible users and stakeholders
Nurture and grow user community by preparing, facilitating, coordinating and running community of practice forums; capture, manage and follow up on all action items raised; communicate outcomes as needed
Lead/support Collibra Data Quality Platform user training and onboarding activities for all existing and future platform components and capabilities
Maintain existing and development new training materials
Advocate for Data management and governance practice

Qualifications:

What you will bring

Expert level of understanding and demonstrable working knowledge of Collibra Data Quality platform
Subject matter expertise in CDQr product,including specific industry and technical knowledge
Expert level of understanding and demonstrable knowledge of Data Quality Management practices
Expert level of understanding and demonstrable knowledge of strategy and product management
Expert level of understanding and demonstrable knowledge of Data Governance practices
Strong communication & problem solving skills
Strong understanding of Data Management Lifecycle
Strong understanding of Data Lifecycle and what DQM activities are applied at each stage
Working knowledge with database technologies, systems, reporting tools and APIs
Ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority
Ability to work with Communication platforms used (gSuite, web pages, Collibra dashboards,) hands on design and development required
Project management skills in order to administer, schedule, manage meeting agendas/ reviews/ MoM/communication and groups of stakeholders
Working knowledge of Data Management practices as per DAMA International BOK framework

Great-to-Haves

University degree in computer science and/or 5 years of working experience in Information Management
Collibra University Certification
Knowledge of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud Technology
PMP certification
Fluency in speaking, reading and writing French
