- Research and collate marketing methods, course and/or program information and current labour market information to mount effective marketing campaigns;
- Implement the annual marketing strategy;
- Assist with a variety of College communications and promotional events, such as campus visits/tours, student orientation, career fair, fundraisers, convocation, etc. under the direction of management;
- Draft, edit, prepare and format correspondence, reports, and copy;
- In collaboration with the Graphic Designer, designs effective promotional elements and materials consistent with brand standards for use online, on digital signage and printed materials.
- Generate, edit and publish content to CNC's main social media accounts;
- Prioritize assignments and opportunities effectively, in a complex and fast-paced environment;
- Seek out, plan, coordinate, and track the success of internal and external promotional activities;
- Assist in various Communications tasks such as booking and producing advertising, and ensuring accurate payment of services;
- Promote programming and College initiatives with internal and external stakeholders;
- Prepare marketing and communications mailings and material;
- Foster a "service excellence" environment in cooperation with others;
- Attend various events to document and promote student experiences/achievements and successes of CNC Campuses through social media;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in across the College to ensure content is current and accurate;
- Participate in campus and college committees as required;
- Attend meetings as required or as directed by management;

- Recognized two (2 ) year diploma in Marketing or Graphic Design, or other related field of study
- 2 years or more relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Understanding of applied marketing principles to include social media analytics and Google analytics;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact well with others;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including superior listening skills and the ability to interpret and pass on detailed information accurately to external and internal agencies and clients;
- Experience with Adobe, Marq, Canva or other related software for the development and publication of promotional materials;
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively communicate daily activities and changes to a working team;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Maintain confidentiality of all clients using the departments' services;
- Ability to follow directions, procedures, and make independent decisions.
