Job Description:
The Wood Cutter is responsible to prepare wooden materials for the packaging department. Must ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times. This will be done by following Company policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Cut wood to various sizes as required for packaging
  • Make uframes for production as required
  • Make wooden pallets for production as required
  • Operate tools such as wood saw and nail guns in a safe manner
  • Prior to shift end, empty dust bag, sweep work area, and maintain general cleanliness for incoming crew
  • Complete all other assigned tasks as required
  • Comply with all quality related policies, procedures and system requirements.
  • Provide training and support to new workers

Skills Required:

  • Ability to use tools such as table saws and nail guns
  • Professional attitude
  • Good command of English
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills
  • Team player, who is able to work under little or no supervision

Educational Qualification Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:


This is a warehouse position and the individual is required to work 8 hours straight shift from Wednesday to Sunday.

Must be able to work in hot and noisy environment.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

$17.78 per hour
