  • GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
  • The Issuer & Customer Support Analyst is responsible for advanced technical work using data mining and analytics to solve business problems and provide datadriven recommendations that guide business decisions for Issuer & Customer Services and the Auto Fund. This position is responsible for data mining, statistical analysis, data integrity, and report design with respect to Issuer Monitoring Programs. The role also investigates issuer transactions and issuer access when there are privacy concerns and works to proactively prevent Issuer privacy breaches.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Monitoring Programs- Develops, delivers, and administers monitoring programs (e.g., Issuer Monitoring, Waived Fees Monitoring). This includes writing queries; developing reports, policies, and procedures for the monitoring program; running and distributing reports; and ensuring that the reports are reviewed and follow-up monitoring is completed. Completes investigations into issuing transactions and issuer access (e.g., investigates files/system for fraud, privacy, and errors). Maintains issuer transaction/remuneration reporting for systems updates to SAM, as well as for distribution to all Motor Licence Issuers. Fulfills the privacy monitoring requirements set out and approved by the Privacy Commissioner, for SGI, through the programming, generation, and distribution of mandator reports.
Data Management- Applies analytics to business support problems to evaluate, identify, research, and recommend improvements to Auto Fund business decisions, programs, policies, and procedures. Develops and executes queries on various elements of the Auto Fund business programs and issuing procedures, using ASE ISQL and MicroStrategy to extract data from corporate databases. Develops, maintains, and analyzes queries, spreadsheets, and reports (scheduled and ad hoc). Applies analytics to problems to evaluate, identify trends, and recommend improvements regarding issuing business decisions, programs, policies, and procedures. Conducts data mining by selecting, exploring, and modeling data to uncover previously unknown patterns and make recommendations for solutions and decision making.- High Performance Team & Culture- Supports a culture of leadership and accountability to effectively meet the key accountabilities within the scope of the role. Demonstrates that the Health, Safety and Emergency Management Policy is applied in area of responsibility for self and others.- TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- Knowledge of the automated systems and databases utilized by the Auto Fund.
Knowledge of ASE ISQL and SQL language for writing and running queries. Knowledge of MicroStrategy (BI) software. Skill in developing reports and presenting technical material/results. Knowledge of vehicles and driver's licence classifications, rating and issuing systems, procedures, and documents. Knowledge of Auto Fund driver and vehicle programs. Knowledge of the functions of the Auto Fund and its business partners. Knowledge of _The Traffic Safety Act_, _The Automobile Accident Insurance Act_, and other regulated Acts and their regulators.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Business or Mathematics & Applied Science, or defined equivalency.

EXPERIENCE years' experience in a statistics, analysis, or related role.


Pay Range:
$69, $88,272.00
