Schedule:

12 hour shift (payed for 11.5)
14/7 rotation
Day shift
Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

Overtime pay (after 6.5 Daily)

Responsibilities

Drive and operate tracked or truckmounted rotary drilling, airtrack or other drilling machines (Sandvik Ranger DX800) to bore large blast holes to specified depths at staked positions in openpit mine or quarry.
Operate drilling machines to drill rock dowels or hollow bars in overburden.
Operate tracked or truckmounted drill equipped with auger or other attachment to drill holes for building foundations or pilings
Ensure all equipment is accounted for daily.
Ensure sufficient supplies are gathered for the day.
Maintenance and care of all assigned equipment.
Complete all necessary paperwork.
Active participation in all safety/tailgate meetings.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Pass Drug & Alcohol Test
Valid Driver's License

Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience operating on the Sandvik Ranger DX800 required
5 years experience of drilling, construction or quarry is preferred
