Team & Job Overview


In 2020, senior management presented to the Board of Directors an integrated digital strategy and transformation roadmap to meet the long-term corporate aspirations of EDC.

The strategy has been approved by the Board of Directors and is now in execution. Most recently, a centralized transformation office (TO) has been created which incorporates all orchestration, change, culture and technology teams. TO employees are empowered to deliver impactful solutions and sustainable change to our business and employee experience platforms. Everyone is tasked with evolving ways of working and bringing the exporter at the center of the design cycle. EDC is currently deploying agile ways of working at scale for all digital solution and value delivery. Key elements of the digital transformation effort in partnership with the business are estimated at $390M+.


We are seeking a Manager, Business Analyst Chapter Lead, to lead business analysts and build competencies within the business analysis domain.

The BA community at EDC is well regarded and has contributed to delivering significant customer impact in the past few years.

The incumbent will need to be sough as an expert in their domain and continue to scale its capabilities.

As EDC takes an employee first approach to deliver its 2030 strategy, attracting, developing, and growing the workforce of BAs is essential.

Close collaboration with family and squad product owners will be essential to ensure BA assignment is optimal and high performing.

Fostering a common sense of development and exemplifying innovative ways BAs can increase their impact is welcome.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage organizational expertise in the business analyst area of knowledge.
  • Drive consistency and refine standards, practices and work methodology within the Chapter competence and serve as a guide for others in their area of knowledge.
  • Identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions e.g., the IIBA, to build professional capabilities.
  • Develop Chapter members over time to create "Tshaped" profiles while steering development to match organizational demand of capability and skill.
  • Evolve capability building roadmap for Chapter members at both the individual and aggregate levels.
  • Actively manage a small workforce; promote EDC, seek new talent, hire, onboard, develop and empower your talent to have impact in process and product teams.
  • Manage quarterly planning for Chapter members and coordinate with them on their longterm professional development. Hold regular 1on1s as required.
  • Partner with family and squad key stakeholders (product owner, scrum master, architecture owner) to assess and manage performance and evaluate Chapter members; 360, etc.
  • Resolve organizational issues, including planning, allocation, reallocation, and accounting for absences.
  • Promote an agile atmosphere with teams and groups by emphasizing nimble action in service of constant customer focus.
  • Promote culture of inclusion and diversity and be an active supporter of EDC's cultural change.
  • Manage the development and/or delivery of a significant element of an organizational change management initiative for a substantial department/area.
  • Map and develop a network of diverse stakeholders, whose influence is critical to the achievement of digital plans and objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of complex information, drawing insights from that data and multiple sources.
  • Communicate effectively to multiple audiences and can bring in additional view in building recommendations.
