CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted company who provides superior healthcare, food and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.

We are looking for a laundry aide to join our amazing kitchen team in one of our beautiful care facilities, Sunridge Place.

Previous experience working with the senior community is_
preferred_
but not required.

Position details:

Permanent Full Time. 4 days on 2 days off.


Compensation:
$22.58 per hour plus benefits after probation


Responsibilities

  • Pick up of all soiled laundry from residents rooms.
  • Sort, wash and fold laundry using approved methods, chemicals and protective equipment.
  • Dry laundry using commercial dryers.
  • Redistribute all personal laundry.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work area.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dryers and washing machines.
  • Preform other duties as assigned.
  • Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid WIMIS certificate.
  • Cultural education and experience are preferred
