In order to meet our increased demand for training,
Worksite Safety Compliance Centre is expanding our instructor-led training team, specifically for the CPO-approved Working at Heights program.

There may also be an opportunity for this instructor to train on mobile equipment use (forklift and elevated work platforms) and/or confined space entry.

If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor who is passionate about working at heights safety and mobile equipment safety education, this role is for you

This full-time position reports to the Manager, Instructor-Led Training and will deliver training at Worksite's various GTA locations (North York, Mississauga, Scarborough, etc.) based on a monthly schedule.

As a Health & Safety Instructor your
key responsibilities are:

Delivering engaging and informative Working at Heights training to job seekers, the general public and new and current members of the construction industry
Evaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluation
Potentially delivering other courses such as Forklift Training, Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training, Confined Space Entry and Rescue and more.
Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
3+ years experience delivering training
Background in construction management and/or other fall hazardrelated industry
Work experience or certification in occupational health & safety preferred
Forklift, mobile elevated work platforms and confined space entry and rescue considered a key asset
Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
Selfstarter who is able to work independently, while also contributing to a team
Strong presentation and adultengagement skills
Valid Ontario's Driver Licence occasional travel by car for work
Able to legally work in Canada
