Description

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Maintain employee records and update changes in employee status, tax withholding, and direct deposit information
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist with yearend payroll activities including W2 preparation

Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or related field
  • Proficient in data entry and payroll software (e.g. Ceridian, Workday, UltiPro)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions is a plus
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of account reconciliation processes is preferred
  • Familiarity with human resources practices is a plus
