Purpose:

Responsible for the effective management of an assigned fleet of drivers and trucks.

Responsibilities:

Planning, monitoring and executing dispatch of all outbound LTL
FTL customer loads
Managing lanes, assets and space to ensure maximization of revenues and optimization of equipment
Quoting and providing rates to customers
Scheduling appointments and tracking trucks daily to ensure on time pickups and deliveries
Creating driver's Run Sheets
Ensuring drivers sheets are correct by verifying reports
Searching for freight to fill empty lanes
Coordinating deliveries with warehouse staff
Providing regular and proactive customer service to all clients to maintain relationships
Communicating with drivers regularly to maintain engagement, provide encouragement and support them with issues while delivering loads
