The Role:


Job Duties:


  • Manage daily kitchen operations and lead the backofhouse staff
  • Ensure the kitchen meets all sanitation and safety requirements
  • Track inventory and order food and supplies
  • Establish portion sizes and recipes
  • Monitor food production and quality, ensuring timely delivery to maximize guest experience
  • Train, coach and supervise kitchen staff
  • Monitor and manage labour costs
  • Manage food handling and waste, ensuring standards are being met at all times
  • Ensure costeffective operations

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as Kitchen Manager in a fastpaced restaurant environment
  • Working knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures to lead the backofhouse team
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to build team moral during stressful shifts
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Experience in communicating and delivering messages to the team, both positive and constructive
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
