The Technical Analyst plays a key role in the procurement, installation, maintenance and support of computer servers and infrastructure software components.

The Technical Analyst assists in the selection and provision of new products to meet the clinical and administrative business needs of the London hospitals.

The Technical Analyst provides an advanced level of support, including assistance in establishing vendor support contracts, and often provides on-call support of critical infrastructure components.

Qualifications:


  • Successful completion of a College Diploma in Computer Systems Technology or related field; Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years recent, related experience in project management or systems support
  • Advanced experience with industrystandard operating systems with an emphasis on Linux and open source
  • Experience with clinical processes, nomenclature, and the hospital environment an asset
  • Strong skills in processcentric thinking
  • Advanced commitment to customer service
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Advanced problemsolving and decisionmaking skills

Immunization Requirements:


  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
