As an Asphalt Groundsperson, You Will:

Perform a variety of tasks including shovelling asphalt, hand sweeping and tack at the plant site
Comply with safe working procedures and practices
Ensure worksite is organized and free of clutter, garbage
Safely Operate Skid steer loader at times
Do general repairs on equipment, ability to weld operate torches
Promote safety awareness; follow company policies & procedures, health, safety, and environment

What You'll Bring:

Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Previous experience in road work and asphalt paving and/or general construction
Proficiency in working with hand tools
Ability to work well with others
Willingness to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Willingness to work days, nights and weekends as required
Willingness and ability to travel, required
Ability to promote a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding and fast paced work environment
Ability to travel, required
