Overview:
Lafarge is seeking a

This is a seasonal oportunity anticipated end date in December with an opportunity for full time year round employment.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Job Cost Accountant with customer billing, variance PO's and other duties as required.
  • Accurately input and process financial data into our accounting system
  • Maintain billing records and ensure accurate and timely billing of clients
  • Assist with accounts payable activities including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment preparation
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities including customer communication and payment followup
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a postsecondary program in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Currently enrolled in Diploma or Degree program related to Finance and Accounting


This entry level position will provide valuable experience in data entry, billing, and finance for a motivated and detail-oriented individual.
