Overview:
Lafarge is seeking a
This is a seasonal oportunity anticipated end date in December with an opportunity for full time year round employment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Job Cost Accountant with customer billing, variance PO's and other duties as required.
- Accurately input and process financial data into our accounting system
- Maintain billing records and ensure accurate and timely billing of clients
- Assist with accounts payable activities including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment preparation
- Assist with accounts receivable activities including customer communication and payment followup
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a postsecondary program in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Currently enrolled in Diploma or Degree program related to Finance and Accounting
This entry level position will provide valuable experience in data entry, billing, and finance for a motivated and detail-oriented individual.
