Nunavik and the normal work schedule is

11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, the Technician is ensuring compliance with the rules of Health and Safety and Environment in the workplace

Its main tasks are:

Performs tire tracking;
Performs tire repairs;
Performs tire rotations;
Performs all other related tasks.

Qualifications

Posses a High School Diploma;
2 to 5 years of experience in the tire repair trade;
Basic knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics;
DEP in construction equipment mechanics, an asset;
Experience in large tires;
Ability to diagnose premature tire wear and breakage;
Valid class 3 or 1 driver's license.

Assets

Experience in the mining industry.
Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
