Job Title:
Child and Youth Worker

Job Type: 4 Months contract with possible extension

Hours: 40

Frontenac Youth Services is a non-profit Mental Health Agency which has been providing assistance to adolescents years) and their families within the Durham Region since 1972.

We are currently looking for Child and Youth Workers to work in our Day Treatment Programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Child and Youth Worker or similar diploma (at least in second year of the program)
Previous experience working in children's mental health
Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Valid Class G driver's license with acceptable driving record, 3 years of experience, and access to a reliable vehicle is a must:

Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certification (Or willing to obtain)
Employment with Frontenac Youth Services requires a preemployment Medical Certificate and uptodate immunizations, including governmentissued proof of full vaccination for COVID19, or a valid human rights exemption.
