What you'll do

  • Provide excellent support to executives by preparing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitoring results versus budget/ forecast, and providing a thorough analysis and investigating variances while identifying risks and opportunities
  • Produce insightful, meaningful, and analytical commentary and reporting that can assist financial and nonfinancial stakeholders to facilitate decision making
  • Proactively build and improve financial models to assist with regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Anticipate evolving financial performance reporting needs and work with cross functional teams to drive improvements and process changes

What you bring

  • University degree or College diploma in Business, Finance/Accounting, or business related discipline
  • Are currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
  • 2+ years in a business or financial analysis role
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills accompanied with strong business acumen
  • Experience with building and improving financial models
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills with ability to articulate financial results and build and maintain strong relationships
  • Attention to detail, organized, motivated selfstarter and with ability to thrive in an environment responsive to changing business requirements
  • Team player and open to new challenge
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, HFM and SQL is an asset
