What you'll do

Provide excellent support to executives by preparing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitoring results versus budget/ forecast, and providing a thorough analysis and investigating variances while identifying risks and opportunities
Produce insightful, meaningful, and analytical commentary and reporting that can assist financial and nonfinancial stakeholders to facilitate decision making
Proactively build and improve financial models to assist with regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting
Anticipate evolving financial performance reporting needs and work with cross functional teams to drive improvements and process changes

What you bring

University degree or College diploma in Business, Finance/Accounting, or business related discipline
Are currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
2+ years in a business or financial analysis role
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills accompanied with strong business acumen
Experience with building and improving financial models
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills with ability to articulate financial results and build and maintain strong relationships
Attention to detail, organized, motivated selfstarter and with ability to thrive in an environment responsive to changing business requirements
Team player and open to new challenge
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, HFM and SQL is an asset
