GENERAL

  • Hourly position
  • Hours may vary in order to meet the job requirement
  • This position will rotate between the day and afternoon shifts
  • Weekend work will be required based on production requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must maintain the high standard of cleanliness throughout the plant and follow Company Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Weighing and recording production waste
  • Responsible for ensuring all production lines have been cleaned in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operating hydraulic compactors
  • Will be required to assist in break relief on production lines
  • Will be required to assume other duties deemed necessary by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • G.M.P's and HACCP training is required
  • Must be very flexible, be a team player, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Must have excellent work ethics and attendance record
  • Knowledge of WHMIS is required
  • Will be required to perform physically demanding work (Lift at least 20 lbs)
  • Must be willing to contribute to a safe working environment
  • Must have good communication skills and command of the English language including speaking, reading and writing English
