What you'll do

  • Provide monthly small group and 1:1 supervision to therapists to optimize their caseload, provide professional development across the therapy team, and identify and solve growth opportunities across the clinical team.
  • Solve clinician and client challenges and concerns in a way that complements the mission of the company
  • Demonstrate proficiency in examining operational challenges and eagerness to quickly and effectively work to solve these challenges while embracing change and flexibility in doing so
  • Actively provide insight and execute programming to achieve goals to support therapist and operational success
  • Develop and facilitate clinician training programs and additional clinical programming such as training for new therapists, client success metrics
  • Assess relevant data, performance metrics, and weekly KPIs to inform growth opportunities and solve operational and clinical gaps within the therapy program
  • Manage a budget and ensure the shortterm and longterm success of the clinical program
  • Audit clinical record keeping, update standards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while ensuring risk management practices are adhered to
  • Work collaboratively with the Chief Clinical Officer and other clinical managers to improve practices and processes to work towards raising standards to improve the client experience
  • Proactively manage and foster an engaged therapy team while looking for opportunities for ongoing improvement, provide direct and supportive feedback and performance management to Shift clinicians, and coach them on growth and success in their caseload
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with therapists and participate in activities that contribute to the effective function of the therapy team and the organization as a whole
  • Facilitate excellent, bidirectional communication with therapists, management, and leadership
  • Manage, own, and effectively execute therapist recruitment with our People Operations Manager

Requirements:


  • We are a virtualfirst company, so you'll work from home the majority of the time. You live within the GTHA to ensure that you can spend time at inperson events and professional development programs as they come up. Working from home, you'll need a private home workspace that allows you to focus.
  • Must be a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist who satisfies Clinical Supervision Guidelines with the CRPO
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical or therapist role
  • Completion of a Master's degree in either Social Work or Counselling Psychology
  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent management/ leadership experience within a clinical environment, complemented by participation in leadership, business, or team development courses; Clinical Manager experience is an asset
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Addictions
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to establish and maintain an engaged therapy team
  • Highly motivated and selfdirected team player
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills are required
  • Experience meeting targets and setting budgets
  • Established a reputation as a consultative and collaborative leader
