Key Account - Strategic Manager

Position Purpose

The purpose of the Key Account Strategic Manager is to analyze, support and provide recommendations for pricing, tactical programs and investments, specific to the KA function.

Utilizing shipment, scan and WPP reports, transform data into business insights that are useful for decision making and strategic planning.

Valuable insights will be critical to hone strategies for each major Key Account nationally.
Works closely with the Key Account team, Sales, Marketing, SI and Finance teams.


Responsibilities for this position include:


  • Analyze available data and identify opportunities for growth
  • Present findings to Key Account Director, Sales Director and KAM's
  • Support Key Account team:
  • Develop pricing, margin, and SOM growth strategies
  • Evolution of JTI Drive agreement
  • Joint business planning with both KA and Wholesale partners
  • Drive cycle submissions
  • Post program debrief to measure return on investment
  • Lead compliance function KYC/KYS and ensure all proper yearly updates are complete
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders across various functions and locations
  • Financial acumen
  • Be proactive and solutionsoriented
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI skills
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 57 years of experience in CPG company (for external)
  • Experience in JTI management position (internal)
  • Sales experience is an asset
The position can be done remotely, but must be available between 10am - 3pm EST.
