At Jay Fencing we do everything from residential fences and decks to commercial fencing, high way sound walls, high security fencing, commercial and residential automated gates and access control.
We pride our selves in being one of the biggest fencing and decking companies in the tri cities for the past 35 years, and are looking to hire full time and seasonal labourers for both our decking and fencing division.
Most job sites are local (Kitchener, waterloo, Cambridge, guelph, Wilmot and Woolwich townships) although some jobs are farther out of town.
Jay fencing Provides:
- All tools to complete the projects
- Transportation to and from job site from our shop
- Safety glasses, hard hats, gloves
- Shirts, hoodies, and hats
- Training on power tools
- Health benefits package after probation period
- Over time pay after 44 hours
- Direct deposit pay cheques weekly (friday)
- We pay you for the trip to and from the job site
- Time off is offered with adequate notice
All applicants must:
- Have a strong eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Be able to perform physical labour
- Be able to read a tape measure
- Be comfortable with basic power tools or be willing to learn how to use them
- Be able/willing to work long hours in the outdoors (hot sun)
- Be able to lift up to 70lbs repeatedly
- Be available to work Monday-Friday minimum, Saturdays optional
- Have reliable transportation to and from shop
General job description:
- Demolition of fences and decks
- Marking locations for fence posts or helical piles
- Digging and setting fence posts
- Mixing concrete
- Finishing fences, gates, and decks
- Carrying material from truck to work area
- Loading trucks with materials
- Cleaning truck at end of work days
- General construction duties
Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
