The Opportunity


Our Construction Services West (CSW) team is currently looking to add a Test Head Coordinator to our team based in Spruce Grove, AB.


Reporting to the Manager, Construction Services West, this position will support work across multiple geographies and multiple Business Units and will provide critical partnership across the enterprise developing and executing key strategies and improvements.

By enhancing CSW's capabilities and support as it relates to Test Heads, Fabrication, Construction, and Logistics Support this position will positively impact TCE's business units and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Accountable for Test Head coordination and document control to ensure quality and compliance of TC assets
  • Provide leadership to facilitate the analysis, resolution, and prioritization of complicated equipment issues with SME's, projects, integrity support and engineering
  • Along with CSW's Test Head Maintenance Coordinator, act as the primary interface with TCE teams relating to the strategies of timing and location of test heads and associated pressure requirements
  • Assist and support in the implementation of asset management plans and other life cycle initiatives for CSW's test head maintenance, refurbishment, and retirement program
  • Support project logistics having familiarization with trucking equipment, trailers, cranes, loading practices
  • Provide administrative and technical support to Construction Services West field teams
  • Monitor and provide input into budgets, forecasts, and cost driver analysis for internal / maintenance budgets
  • Work proactively with projects to ensure issues are communicated effectively to key stakeholders
  • Provide advanced communication, partnership, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate analytical, business analysis, problem solving and decisionmaking methodologies
Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education in a related field
  • 8 years of experience in planning, organizing, strategy, and prioritizing with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • An equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineered design drawings and bills of materials
  • Proven knowledge of piping, valves, and fittings
  • Proficient knowledge and use of computer programs (Microsoft, Bluebeam, SAP, Workday)
Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management and process improvement experience
  • Progressive experience in field operations, piping and fabricated assemblies, construction, inventory management, logistics, welding, purchasing, pressure testing, valves, and fittings
  • Previous leadership experience (formal or informal)
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
  • Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training
