Responsibilities:

• Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts
• Assist in the assembly and installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, thread, and weld pipes
• Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut pipes accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• No prior experience required; apprenticeship program will provide onthejob training
• Basic knowledge of plumbing principles is a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is beneficial

Skills:

• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely
• Basic understanding of math concepts for measuring and cutting pipes accurately
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- plumbing: 2 years (preferred)
