BD Diesel is looking for reliable and dependable Quality Specialist who can help us with regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes related duties with a can-do attitude.
Shift: 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. Monday to Friday.Quality Specialist's responsibilities include:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and finished products
Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures
Identify and address quality issues and discrepancies, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement
Coordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
Analyze product specifications and requirements to establish quality and reliability standards
Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures for incoming, in-process, and final inspections
Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality control techniques into overall company processes
Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment
Participate in product development meetings to provide input on quality standards and expectations
Oversee the management of non-conforming materials, ensuring proper documentation, segregation, and disposition
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions
Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and efficiency
Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams
Engage in supplier quality performance monitoring and improvement activities
Maintain accurate quality documentation and records
Prepare and present regular quality reports to management
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes
Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Train staff on quality control measures and new protocols
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Certification in Quality Control/Assurance is preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications)
Proven experience (Minimum 5 Years) in quality control/assurance in the automotive or manufacturing sector
Experience with 5S and Lean thinking and methods
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in the use of quality testing tools and software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
