Reporting directly to the VP, TBSM Technology, the primary accountability of this position is to provide a diverse range of strategy execution, analytical and communications support to the VP.

The incumbent acts as the representative of the VP and is an effective communicator who possesses the highest level of integrity, has proven experience in providing counsel to senior leaders, and is discreet at managing matters that are both confidential and time sensitive.

About This Role


We are looking for someone to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to standards and frameworks.

You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:


  • Supporting the VP, TBSM Technology in achieving business objectives, providing daytoday leadership on key initiatives, liaison with stakeholders, conducting research, coordinating communications activities, managing and tracking progress against key objectives, and maintaining a current understanding of strategies and direction.
  • Undertake and oversee a variety of projects and initiatives often of a highly sensitive nature, and usually with mínimal guidance or direction, ensuring discretion and ability to see items through to resolution/completion
  • Help leaders stay organized, allow them time to focus on more important items
  • Anticipate problems, critical issues, and opportunities as they arise and advise VP and leaders accordingly
  • Provide VP with an overview of management information, discussions and/or business issues in advance of key business meetings and events. Coordinate followup on outstanding issues as required
  • Identify issues and risks requiring research or analysis, determine solutions/mitigations directly or in consultation with relevant functional / business leaders, other internal / external groups as necessary, and provide meaningful information in response to issues / questions raised
  • Support the VP in external commitments, including preparing briefing notes in advance of meetings, liaising with stakeholders, and coordinating required followup
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and their direct reports
  • Plan, manage and execute internal events and meetings (ie, team building activities, townhalls etc)
  • Organize and participate in leadership meetings, planning initiatives and activities
  • Facilitate Leadership Team meetings, including preparing the agenda, ensuring that topics presented are relevant and timely. Provide thought leadership to executive audience (ie, roadmap, strategic plan, etc)

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Superior communication skills professional, confident, transparent and concise communicator (verbal and written)
  • Excellent judgment, relationship management, and impact and influence capability, with a demonstrated ability to get along with people across TDBG and external parties at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and will interface regularly with members of the TAG Leadership Team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and determine what is important and where value can be best added
  • Organizational awareness, resourcefulness and demonstrated relationship building skills understanding of whom
