    We're looking for an Inside Sales Manager to lead our Inside Sales efforts across our Canada team. On the Inside Sales team, our mission is to promote growth in local economies by building connections with businesses across the nation and promoting the DoorDash platform. Stationed locally, this team owns new business development by creating deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants across Canada.

    About the Role

    We're looking for an Inside Sales Manager for our Strategic Team who focuses on bringing on the most valuable merchants onto the DoorDash platform. As an Inside Sales Manager, you will lead a team of senior or strategic level account executives who are experienced in bringing the best local merchants onto the DoorDash platform. You'll oversee the daily operations of this team, ensuring their success in achieving OKR goals. You will also work cross-functionally with our strategy and operations and other teams to report up on sales metrics and innovate on our future approach.

    You will report directly to the Director of Canada, who will cultivate your growth, and provide you with broader strategy and support to lead alongside your team. We expect this role to be flexible in terms of time spent remote and in-office with the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through trainings, offsites, team-building events, and other business related necessity.

    • Mentor and lead all Inside Sales individual contributors utilizing both transactional and solution selling techniques
    • Be a role model to others, providing sought-after leadership and support
    • Lead the overall sales direction to the team while managing up to the company leadership team about strategy and execution
    • Exercise wide latitude in determining goals and approaches to business-critical assignments
    • Contribute to elevating the DoorDash values both internally and externally
    • Identify and analyze issues that need to be addressed and convene the appropriate parties to select an optimal resolution path

    • You have 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in inside sales role with a history of exceeding goals
    • You have 3+ years of sales management experience
    • You pride yourself on your experience establishing communication and engagement thoughtfully
    • You can navigate sales and internal tools quickly (Salesforce, Google Apps)
    • You see yourself as a someone who thrives on providing transparent and honest feedback to better yourself and your Team
    • You are able to report up challenges and key transformational items that your Team is sharing with you, with the goal of clearly articulating to the business the resources needed

    Compensation

    The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

    Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
