About the Role:

Currently, we are seeking a motivated
Project Controls to join our growing team in order to support our Project Manager with our projects in
Northern Ontario.

The
key responsibilities of a Project Controls include, but are not limited to:

Auditing, mentoring, and executing new job entries in system
Audit & Review Invoicing and report to client on Key Performing Indicators & Schedule Performing Index
Forecasting and equipment allocation for projects
Completing FWI's, contract changes, and procurement approvals
Monitoring and reporting on monthly budget and production variances
Completing job closeouts and final reporting
Mentor, train, and develop, Project Coordinators
Be involved in development, testing and implementation of new control process, strategies, and optimization of standards
Report to the Project Manager and provide support to the Superintendents and Project Coordinators

Qualifications

Postsecondary education in Mining Engineering Technology or B. Eng in Mining Engineering
3 years of project control experience, preferably in the mining industry
Experience in a mining, industrial, construction environment or manufacturing is preferred
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and tools such as MS Project, etc.
Strong mentorship, communication and leadership skills and ability to interact and engage with cross functional teams
Demonstrates initiative with the ability to prioritize, stay organized and work independently in a demanding fastpaced environment
Must be open to working at any of the underground mine sites, in Sudbury, that Technica operates at
