We are looking for a leader who will work with the team responsible for providing transactional support and operational expertise for the various equity derivative products, with the objective of ensuring an optimal client experience, while contributing to the success of Financial Markets and the transformation of Operations.


Being a Director in the OTC Equity Derivatives and Structured Products team means working with a dynamic, evolving team where the work is stimulating and diversified.

It means taking the necessary actions to deliver the service offer while aiming to improve the efficiency, productivity and profitability of your sector.

It also means mobilizing and maximizing the contribution of your employees, while ensuring their evolution and the development of their skills through personalized coaching.


Your knowledge of the sector and the various products, your management experience and your interest in risk management will make you stand out.

This position reports to the Senior Director, OTC Derivatives Products and is located in downtown Montreal.

  • Your role
  • Manage a team of professionals of approximately 12 people, responsible for delivering the various activities
  • Maintain and develop expertise in data entry, legal confirmation and life cycle management of financial transactions in the various systems
  • Provide customerfocused support to our various partners/clients
  • Simplify and improve processes related to our daily activities, new products, and auditor recommendations
  • Build and maintain good relationships with our various stakeholders (FO-Negotiators, Risk, Accounting, IT, etc.) and ensure effective ongoing communication
  • Develop, implement and evolve controls and tools to achieve high quality standards and minimize operational risks related to activities
  • Act as a coach and guide the team to develop their potential by identifying learning and development opportunities while reinforcing versatility.

Competencies required:

  • Bachelor's degree related to the business line and 7 years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the business line and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Significant experience in personnel management
  • Experience in financial markets
  • Good knowledge of OTC derivatives
  • Knowledge of Murex and/or other financial market systems desirable
  • Organizational ability to manage projects and daily activities
  • Demonstrated ability in change management
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently interact with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French
