Job Title:

Air Freight Sales Supervisor


Location:

Mississauga, Ontario


Schedule:
8:30AM - 5:00PM
(Monday-Friday), one (1) hour unpaid lunch break included

Position Summary
This position is responsible for identifying growth areas with existing and prospective accounts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to leading the end-to-end sales cycle, leveraging the company's solutions and services, to meet or exceed performance objectives.


Essential Job Duties:


1.
Logistics Business Development (Sales)

  • Developing and fostering business relationships with all customers.
  • Active hunting and acquiring new customer business, in addition to managing an existing client base in Air Freight Forwarding

2. Account (Customer) Management

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territories and for managing the relationships with key accounts and maximizing all opportunities through those accounts.

3.
Strategic Business Model Development and P&L Management

  • Working with top management, operations, purchasing, logistics and sales teams, both domestically and globally, to recommend sales and marketing strategies and programs that will help achieve targeted growth, profit and market share relative to corporate goals and trends in the industry and economy.

Minimum Requirements:

Air Freight Sales experience at least 5 years, knowledge of overall Air freight forwarding process is strongly preferred.

IATA License/ Dangerous Good Cargo license are strongly preferred

Excellent Excel skill is strongly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:
Strong analytic and decision-makingskills.

Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong communication skills, able to address customer requests and concerns in professional manner

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

$70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
