At Motorola Solutions we help solve some of the biggest challenges around safety and physical security by developing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and products that are used to help keep people, businesses, and cities around the world safer.
Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.
**You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team responsible for the design and implementation of the next generation of Motorola's market-leading high-performance video solutions products.
As an Imaging Co-Op, you will understand camera image quality performance metrics and develop a robust automation platform to support benchmarking of new features, improve workflows, and increase test coverage.
Responsibilities include:
- Image quality testing and analysis of new video camera designs
- Design and implement test automation of existing image quality tests
Qualifications:
- Engineering Physics, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Strong image/video photography skills
- Experience and proficiency in Python
- Experience with version control software (git)
- Comfortable with linux command line interface
- Detail oriented and well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of ISP and 3A architecture
- Knowledge of CMOS image sensor and lens technology
- Knowledge of image/video coding
- Experience with C/C++
done.
The base salary range for this position in British Columbia is, 38,000-50,000 CAD depending on experience
