Reporting to the AVP, Digitization & Automation, the Director, Operational Insights and Digital Solutions will drive the identification and implementation of digitization, business intelligence and digital solutions, with a customer lens.

This role is an incredible opportunity to have significant, strategic impact on the Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) and General Account Operations businesses.

We're looking for an individual who demonstrates a focus and passion for the customer and the business. A collaborative, transparent individual who can create and communicate a vision and engage others to work towards objectives. This role requires a highly visible individual who can drive change through relationships, thought leadership and exceptional business knowledge.


Responsibilities

  • In partnership with key stakeholders, drive demand for and implement business intelligence, digitization and automation solutions
  • Define the right dataset usage and associated tooling to deliver digital solutions
  • Continual focus on increasing team delivery capabilities
  • Implement significant change in process redesign to reduce customer effort
  • Develop a high energy, high impact team that can deliver these solutions effectively and efficiently
  • Drive innovation and digital as the core of delivery
  • Process assessment: determine project suitability, cost/benefit analysis, overall project management, resource allocation.
  • Engagement management: support the project deliveries and have upward communications with senior management

How will you create impact?


This role will support our GWAM & General Account businesses through provision of digital solutions comprising of business intelligence/dashboarding and process creation/optimization/automation, with the overarching goals of improving efficiency, creating capacity, decreasing costs and mitigating operational risks.

The role will serve as a change agent for Global WAM Operations, developing strong connections across teams and individuals to a shared vision in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment.

The role is accountable for finding the balance between leading edge innovation and sound business, budget and organizational management styles.

  • Technically proficient, with strong understanding of technologies and how to leverage them appropriately to achieve desired outcomes

  • Strong curiosity and desire to make the complex clear and to always ask "why"
  • Organized, selfdirected, efficient and able to manage multiple projects
  • University Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
  • Highly effective Change Agent
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft stack of technology (e.g., Power Platform, Azure), SQL, other digital/automation tools
  • Knowledge of the business and operational processes
  • Ability to break down complex cases, recommend and implement a solution
  • Sound knowledge of emerging technology and business trends
  • Financial acumen proven experience in managing costs and identifying benefits
  • Proven effectiveness in working within a matrixed, geographically dispersed team and leverage knowledge across the organization
