Our Group Savings and Retirement (GRS) business is based on a Win/Grow/Retain strategy.

The Inside Sales Advice and Retention teams (Transition Solutions, PlanRight etc) are a very important unit dedicated to achieving the results supporting the GRS strategy.

This position is responsible for supporting the sales teams mentioned above by assisting with administrative duties and tasks related to the licensing requirements of their role.

This position will work closely with the sales agents, leaders, including provincial regulatory councils.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop, document and handle licensing procedures for agents in all provinces
  • Maintain compliance monitoring program and perform regular monitoring activities to ensure up to date processes and procedures are aligned with internal and external regulatory framework
  • Assist in resolving licensing issues as needed
  • Monitor, process and document licenses and license renewals
  • Support special projects and other tasks, as needed by the business
  • Aligns with federal, provincial and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management and licensed agents on needed actions

Job Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in business or related field
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to handle fluctuating workloads and multiple priorities
  • Experience in an advisory administrative role and/or retail product experience in financial services and/or GRS operations environment
  • Proficiency in using multiple technology platforms
  • MS Office, CRM tool
  • Attention to detail and ability to review all work for quality assurance purposes
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a multitasking environment
  • Proven analytical and creative skills
  • Demonstrate analytical capabilities with respect to process improvements, problem solving, etc.
  • Bilingualism would be preferred but not required

Salary & Benefits


The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of Montreal, Quebec is expected to be between $42,825.00 CAD - $71,375.00 CAD.
