**Job Summary: The role of Manager, GB Organizational Projects will be responsible for coordinating efforts across multiple teams to ensure business, function, team and clients are operationally ready for implementation - success will be achieved through ensuring the business partners have well-developed operational change plans that are implemented on time, within budget & with quality. This role may also be engaged to lead one or more key operational/business projects. Additionally, the role may be engaged to facilitate the development of plans to optimize business delivery.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Project manage key organizational business initiatives.
  • Lead delivery of organizational readiness for strategic business initiatives by providing facilitation and mentorship to sponsor, product owners and/or partner team members, develop detailed organizational readiness plans to ensure delivery is timely and mitigates the change impacts to both external and internal partners.
  • Build and maintain operational readiness schedules including development of milestones, OKRs, KPIs, and governance/status reporting. Develop, maintain and modify plans as conditions change.
  • Ensure that appropriate resources are assigned as the need arises for planning & execution of organizational readiness plans.
  • Track and report on organizational readiness results.
  • Establish/maintain risk and issue logging and resolution processes. Develop recommendations on courses of action required to mitigate risks or resolve issues.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate closely with sponsor, product owner and key partners.
  • Influence and contribute to successful change including new ways of doing business.
  • Overall management for key initiatives or projects including organizational readiness, ongoing management of project schedules, resources and related financials. Identify and assess risks to determine impact of decisions and consequences to project assumptions and benefits.

Job Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Competencies):

years of project management, PMP, business analysis or business unit supervisory experience at an intermediate/senior level

  • Previous experience in a project team environment with project leading responsibilities and working with/supporting agile delivery
  • Sound knowledge of change management tools & methodologies
  • Strong understanding of sophisticated technical environments and systems supporting Group Benefits and impacts to servicing Canadian Division business units/partners.
  • Proven strong organization, communication and problemsolving skills
  • Influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to prepare schedules and status reports, delegate effectively, and deliver timely results.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive crossdepartment relationships to attain collaborative solutions.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable when taking care of change
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skill (geared to Senior Management);
  • Ability to optimally prioritize and handle expectations.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.

$77,250.00 CAD - $139,050.00 CAD
