Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Assisting in running, analysing, calibrating, and modifying hydraulic wastewater and hydraulic water distribution system models.
Collaborating with senior team members to develop innovative solutions that meet design criteria.
Assisting in the preparation of modelling documentation, technical memoranda, and design reports.
Supporting Infrastructure Planning Studies, such as Master Plans, Basement Flooding, and Inflow and Infiltration Studies.
Receiving training and mentorship from experienced professionals in water/wastewater modelling and methods.
Assisting senior staff in maintaining client relationships
Supporting the preparation of proposals, report writing, cost estimation, and drawing preparation.
Collaborating with Service Line Leaders and Project Managers both within and outside the region to contribute to work sharing and business development efforts.

What you will bring to the team:

A degree in Civil/Water Resource Engineering.
A strong foundation in hydraulic/hydrologic principles and tools.
Good information retrieval and information summary skills.
Selfmotivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Team player, cooperate with other staff.
Familiarity with industrystandard hydraulic/hydrologic software, such as WaterCAD/WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks WSPRO / ICM (1D and 2D), InfoSWMM, InfoWater, and WaterGems.
Knowledge of data analytical techniques, machine learning tools and dashboarding is desirable.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of Smart Water Network Design
A valid driver's license in Ontario and willingness to travel within Ontario and Canada as required.
