** **As an
Auxiliary Collections Clerk I you will complete cashier and clerical work in receiving, recording, balancing and processing receipts for a variety of City accounts and services and assist the supervisor in performing a variety of related clerical tasks. The work also includes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the public as the first point of contact for all public inquiries concerning taxes, utilities, property related information, and other matters to assist the Financial Operations division.
To be considered for this temporary opportunity you must have:
- Completion of Grade 12 or the equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting focus from a recognized postsecondary institute is considered an asset.
